🌿 Introduction to Candelilla Wax

Candelilla Wax is a plant-based, vegan-friendly wax derived from the leaves of the Candelilla shrub (Euphorbia antisyphilitica), which grows primarily in northern Mexico and the southwestern United States. It is harvested by boiling the plant in water with sulfuric acid, which causes the wax to separate and float to the surface.

It is yellowish-brown, hard, and brittle in texture, with a glossy finish. Candelilla wax is a popular alternative to beeswax in vegan candle-making, cosmetics, and skincare formulations.
